How to Credibly Improve your Ebay Feedback Rating
Your eBay feedback rating can go a long way in getting your business. Some people will not even bid on an auction if the feedback rating isn’t good, thus the price you get for the items that you do sell might be lower. Also, just a few bad ratings can significantly lower your score if you do not have a lot of feedback. Consider the following tips on how to credibly improve your feedback rating.
Run a good business
To improve your feedback rating you are going to want more people to give you that coveted “positive” score. You should have good products. Make clear descriptions of them and be honest in your information. You can even do something a little extra by throwing in a little additional something.
Provide good customer service
If something goes wrong, you still might be able to get good feedback in a sale if you handle it right. For instance, just having a return policy can help, because if people are not happy then they might send it back. If someone isn’t pleased about something, then perhaps you could give them a discount or give them more of something. Be apologetic and ask what you can do to make it right.
Ship things out timely
A lot of times, bad feedback is related to the speed of shipping. Even if you send it out in a reasonable amount of time, some people are very anxious to get their items. You should be very clear in how long it takes for someone to get an item, perhaps even giving them an exact date range. Be especially clear if they are paying for a slower method of post such as media mail. Do not underestimate when it could be more because they may send in that negative feedback the minute that it is late.
Get a lot more positive feedback
When you just have a little feedback, then even one or two negative pieces of feedback can cause a problem. You might want to get a lot more items out there to improve your feedback rating. A lot of people have ratings that are in the upper 90s, and this is what some people are looking for. It might be worth it to get some smaller items to sell so that you can accumulate more feedback. If you had a good experience with someone, then you can ask that they send in good feedback.
With an improved eBay feedback rating you may find more and higher sales. Consider the above tips to help you credibly improve this score.
