First, think about the size that you want. A lot of this will depend on the what you are going to wear it with. Obviously if you are wearing it with something that has belt loops such as jeans, then make sure that it fits through those loops. You want the belt to match and go well with whatever you are wearing it with. You might want to wear that outfit when going to try on the belts to see what looks the best.
