Many dream about getting revenge against their ex. When you do something negative, however, you could end up hurting yourself as well and possibly setting a bad example for children. Instead you should consider using success as a means of revenge against your ex.
There are many areas in which you can succeed in to show your ex. If there was always something that he or she was saying that you could not do or putting you down about, then that might be the perfect place in which to succeed. For instance, if he always made fun of your weight, then you can lose weight. This can be healthy for you, make you look and feel great and be the perfect revenge. If there was something that he always bragged about being better in such as if he felt that he was better at a sport, then take lessons and learn to do it better. Try to accomplish the things that you really want to accomplish for yourself and let the revenge be an added bonus.
Of course no matter how successful you are, you will not be able to consider it revenge if your ex does not find out about it. You should take the steps to make sure that he either hears about your success or sees it firsthand. For instance, if you wanted to lose weight and get yourself together, then you can make yourself look great for when you see him so that she cannot believe what you have done. If you have made some great strides in your career, then be sure to bring them up. You may be able to ask a friend to mention it to him. You may post it on a social networking website such as Facebook if he is still a friend. Let him know how much you have accomplished without him. You can feel proud for all you have done and consider it the best revenge of all.
Of course the best revenge might be if you can actually beat him at something. For instance, if you are in high school and he was always very prideful about doing better in school, then you can try to up your grades or do better on a report or test.
Great revenge is not about doing something negative that is going to make you feel juvenile. Instead it can be about you growing and accomplishing what you want to do. Sometimes the best revenge of all is when you realize that now that you have succeeded, it does not really matter what he thinks at all.
