A lot of teens are very much into movies. A gift related to the silver screen might make a nice gift for Christmas of 2010. Your movie buff teens might enjoy some of the following:
DVDs
Of course a movie buff is going to love some DVDs. Think about what your teen likes. You can get a movie that he or she saw in the movies that you know that they would like to see again. Many DVDs are very inexpensive, especially if you buy them during a big sale day such as Black Friday, the big shopping day the day after Thanksgiving, so you might be able to get an entire selection for him or her.
Movie memorabilia
You might be able to find something that was actually in a movie. This might be exciting for your teen to have. They sell a lot of these items at places like www.ebay.com. Of course, some of this does get faked, so you will want to be sure to authenticate it.
Replica of something from the movie
They may know it is fake, but it might not matter. With some of the bigger movies, they make replicas. For instance, you can get a replica ring from the Lord of the Rings movies. Think about what your teen might like (and would not think was too “dorky”).
Movie experience
You can take your child and a selection of friends out for a movie experience for his or her 2010Christmas gift. You can treat them to everything you normally do not splurge on such as popcorn, candy, etc. You can also take them out to eat before or after to make it a very nice day.
Artwork of the movies
Many movies have posters that you can buy, which a teen might like to put on the wall of his or her room. Some of them have special film cells that they sell as part of artwork. They may show a scene from the movie. You can even get a cut-out of some characters from movies, which a teen might like.
Apparel related to the movie
They make a lot of clothing for the more popular movies. For instance, a teen that likes Superman will find many t-shirts, hats, jackets and other apparel items. They made a lot of this for Twilight, which is very popular amongst teenagers. You might get something that looks like a prop from the movie such as the jacket from Indiana Jones.
