If you want your child to remember a gift forever then you can get him or her a brand new puppy. Of course this is a gift that requires a lot of money, time and commitment. Others might give a cat. If you want to get your child a pet with much less commitment, then consider a gold fish or beta fish in a small bowl. Those are inexpensive and can also teach the children responsibility.

Every year you will see many kids riding around on the shiny new bikes that they got for Christmas. They make all different types, and these gifts can last for years and create memories for decades. A lot of little kids love to go roller skating. Some of these fit over shoes, but you can also find some that are adjustable so that they will last for a long time.

There are many different types of games. Of course there are many popular board games like Candyland and Chutes and Ladders. They make video game systems like the Leapfrog Leapster or the Nintendo WII. You can get him or her games for a system they already own.
Books
If you want something educational or just fun, then consider some books. Many kids love to read.
No matter what Christmas present you choose for 2010, it is important to make sure that it is safe. To that end make sure that it is recommended for the age of children that you have.
