2287 Words: 432
You will have many choices when it comes to the time of day to have your wedding. You can choose an evening time, an afternoon time or even a morning time, although this is less common. Within these categories, you will have your choices of time, i.e. you could do a 5pm wedding, a 6pm wedding and so forth. So how should you decide what time to make it? Consider the following when making your decision.
How long do you want it to be?
Obviously, this will make a difference. If you want a very long wedding, say six hours long, then you might not want it as late as you would make it if it were only half that. If you started a six-hour wedding at 8pm, it would go until 2am. Many people will not want to stay that late and you might have a lot of people leaving early. Consider the span of time it would encompass depending on the length and desired starting time.
Think about who can make it at the time
Some people might have difficult making a wedding at a certain time. For instance, if you make it on a Friday, then many people might work during the day and only be able to make it if you have a night wedding. If you make it very early, some people might have trouble coming as well. A very late wedding might be difficult if you have a lot of families with small children. Especially consider your needs and the needs of close family.
Make sure you have enough time to prepare
If you want to take pictures before your wedding, get dressed, and so forth, you will need a certain amount of time. Make sure to take this into consideration. You do not want to be rushed on the day of your wedding. You want to be able to enjoy it, and get everything done that needs to be done. Make sure that you have enough time to do this.
Look at the price differences
Some places will be cheaper at certain times. Usually the earlier times are cheaper, and this can be quite substantial. You can look at the price difference and see if it would be worth it to you.
Look at availability
Different reception places have specified times that you would have to adhere to. Look to see what they offer. Also if you have your heart set on another vendor, you might have to consider their availability as well.
Consider the above points when deciding what time to make your wedding.
