Should you Wear Cuff Earrings

Cuff earrings are earrings that do not go through a pierced hole but instead “hug” the ear. Typically they are worn higher on the ear than a traditional earring. Generally people will wear one cuff earring at a time; however, you can wear one on each ear if you want. They may or may not match each other. They can be a fashion do, however it depends on a variety of factors.
Cuff earrings are definitely trendy. They are not a conservative or formal look. Therefore, they are a don’t if you are going somewhere that is formal or conservative. It would probably not be wise to wear cuff earrings if you are going to a serious job or to a special occasion such as a wedding. The simple item can even affect how people look at you, so you should be aware of that. It is considered a more modern and “younger” look.
Not all cuff earrings are created the same. You could get a very simple cuff that is thin and might not even be that noticeable. Something like that would be acceptable at more places. Alternatively, they make very large ones that are statement pieces. They may be much more substantial in size and scope. For instance, you can get a cuff earring that looks like a slithering dragon or snake is running along your ear. Some of them have chains or gemstones. A lot of them have a piece that hangs down.
Think about where you are going to see whether cuff earrings are suitable. If you are going to a club, then this can be a great look. If you are going to a modern restaurant or to an outdoor fair or festival, such as a Renaissance Festival, then this can all but fit in.
You also need to think about the people you will be with and what type of impression you want to make. Someone will think you are more daring but might not think of you are conservative. If you are going to meet your boyfriend’s parents for the first time, your grandmother or a new boss, then think about if you want this in.
Of course you want your jewelry to reflect you. If you feel that cuff earrings do so, then you should wear them.
