There are many places that sell all-inclusive travel packages to Walt Disney World. Purchasing such a package is right for some but wrong for others. Consider the following advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages
You can get everything taken care of
Planning all of the aspects of a vacation can be hard work. It can take time to figure out which hotel, airplane and so forth you want to use. A lot of people find it much easier if they can just work with one organization who can do the job of planning everything for them. It might give them less to worry about on their vacation.
You can save money
A lot of times you can save money when you purchase everything in a package. They will often quote you what the charge would have been if you had purchased everything separately.
You may get extra perks
Depending on whom you book with, making a package might give you some extra perks. Perhaps you will get free breakfast somewhere or some special parking.
Disadvantages
You may have to take a specific vendor
Some people like to do research and pick out each of their vendors such as the hotel, car rental company, etc. You may like all of the aspects of a package except one but you might not be able to change that.
It doesn’t always save you money
There are many deals to be had on trips to Orlando that do not involve packages. You may miss out on those if you go with a package. A lot of times you cannot combine offers so you may miss out on something big. Also, you may not be able to use some of the hotels that present very major discounts. You may also be roped into paying for something that you do not need such as if it comes with a rental car but you already have a car.
You may have certain restrictions
Some packages have certain restrictions. They may be a certain number of days and not be flexible if you want to make it shorter or longer. Some of them may require that you travel on certain dates, which are not as convenient to you. You need to consider whether the restrictions bother you enough to forgo the entire package.
An all-inclusive travel package to Walt Disney World can be a great way to travel but it isn’t right for everyone. Consider the above advantages and disadvantages when making your decision.
