A credit limit that fits your needs
Different cards will offer you different credit limits. You will have to decide what you need, and see what can give you the best limit to fit your needs. You can often ask to have your credit limit lowered, and sometimes they will even raise it a little upon request.
A rewards program
Many credit cards have some sort of rewards program. A very popular one is to give airline miles for your purchases, which can be very good if you fly a lot. Some other credit cards will give you cash back. It might be a straight percentage across the board or certain percentages on specific products or at certain stores. Many of them give special discounts at places such as gas stations. Others give points, which can be redeemed for gift certificates or other rewards. Some of these do have monthly or annual limits so consider that. Still, they can add up significantly over the course of time.
Good customer service
