Choose your hotel wisely
There are many different hotels surrounding Walt Disney World, and this might be a big part of your honeymoon experience. There are hotels on Disney property that are very nice and can give some added perks such as extra hours (on certain days). However, there are a lot of very close off-site hotels that usually offer better value and have lovely rooms. A lot of hotels offer features that might be very nice for a newlywed couple such as beautiful accommodations, Jacuzzis and more. The hotel prices in Orlando are generally reasonable.
Tell people that you are just married
Unless you are very shy, it might be nice to tell people that you are just married. You can show them, instead. They sell Mickey Mouse ears in a bride and groom version. The bride version is white and has a little veil and the groom version looks like it has a black top hat on it. Why should you tell people that it is your honeymoon? At Walt Disney World, they try to make things special, and they will often do things special for you if they know it is your honeymoon. For instance, one couple that honeymooned there was allowed to skip the line for certain rides, given their own “boat” for a ride, given a special serenade and certificate at a restaurant, given a special spot to view the fireworks and more. Of course, you never know what special treatment you will receive – it is up to whomever is there at the time, but you are sure to receive some special things when they know that it is this special time.

Walt Disney World can be very overwhelming, especially for someone not familiar with the park. It might be worth it to spend some time planning in advance so that you know what attractions you want to do. If you want to do special dining, be sure to make reservations in advance because a lot of the restaurants do fill up.
