Craft Project Ideas for Baby Wipe Containers
If you have a baby, then you might have baby wipe containers all around the house. These items are often less than attractive, and are usually made of plastic. One idea is to make them much nicer through a craft.
Cover them with fabric
One simple way to make baby wipe containers look much nicer is to cover them in fabric. You can use whatever fabric that you would like, of course. You can gear it to the room. If it is in a bathroom, then you can find a fun fabric with ducks. If it is for your little girl’s nursery then you can get something that matches the linens in her room. You will want to cut out the fabric to cover it and use some sort of glue that is made for plastic and fabric.
Add embellishments
You can put on embellishments on the baby wipe container. For instance, you can purchase Swarovski crystals if you want it very sparkly. You can also put on ribbons that can be very pretty. You can glue beading or add in feathers or other items.
Cover them in stickers
An easy craft to make baby wipe containers look nicer is to simply buy stickers to attach to them. Make sure that you get something that will stick nicely and not just fall off. They sell many stickers that are made for scrapbooking that would look very pretty. This can also be a great craft for young children.
Cover them in pictures
You also might want to put pictures of your baby or other members of the family on the baby wipe containers. Little kids might find that fun.
Paint your baby wipe containers
There are paints that will go on nicely on plastic. You can look for these and decorate your baby wipe containers however you would like. You can also first line it with fabric and then paint the fabric or use fabric markers.
Make it look like a cute animal
You can turn your baby wipe container into an animal. One idea is to take a stuffed animal that is slightly larger but about the same shape as the container such as a duck. You can then open it at the top and take out some of the stuffing and put the baby wipes container in it. Glue it together. Of course, make sure that you can still open the container. You can also make your own “stuffed animal baby wipe container” with fabric and stuffing if you know how to sew.
One safety note is to not let your baby or toddler near the baby wipes container if it contains embellishments that can be pulled off and become a choking hazard like crystals. Otherwise these crafts can turn an ordinary object into a pretty decorative piece.
