A boot camp is a great way to get hardcore into exercise. These are very intense exercise classes that may involve cardio and weight training. They are usually very difficult but the people are very serious about exercising. Some of this motivation may rub off on you.
If you want the motivation of others but do not quite want the intensity of a boot camp, then you can join an exercise class. With the right instructor, these can be very motivational. You may find them very enjoyable and want to continue going to the same ones. You can also meet others who are interested in exercising.
Get a workout buddy
A workout buddy can help motivate you and you can motivate him or her. You can plan to exercise together. When you make plans with someone, you may be less likely to cancel than if you were on your own.
