You should also take a lot of walks during the spring months. Although this cannot substitute for cardiovascular exercise, it can be a great addition to it. You can also enjoy other types of exercises outdoors. For instance, you may simply go into your backyard to do weightlifting or toning exercises such as lunges and squats. You can do jumping jacks or even make up your own aerobics routine for the outside.
Of course there are many other exercises you can do. Open your windows to let in the cool fresh air while you exercise on an exercise bike, treadmill or elliptical machine. You can also go to a gym to help you get fit.
