Ideas for something old for a Wedding

Tradition says that you need something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue for your wedding. There is no one way that every bride interprets the something old. Instead, there are many special items that this could represent for you. Consider the following choices.
Some women choose to wear a special dress to fulfill the old part of tradition. For instance, you may wear your mother’s wedding dress. It could be your grandmother’s dress or a dress from another family member. You might instead choose an antique dress that was worn long ago.

This can be a special way to wear something that belonged to someone special. Oftentimes, older relatives will give a bride a piece of jewelry when she gets married just for that purpose. It is also special to wear a piece of jewelry that belonged to someone special who is no longer here. You can remember them.
Religious brides may choose to carry a Bible when they walk down the aisle. If you have a family Bible that means a lot to you, then this can be the one you carry. It might be a small Bible that a different bride in your family carried down the aisle long ago.
Another option is to put something into your bouquet that is old. For instance, you may have an old piece of ribbon that was once part of a different wedding dress or something else that was special.
There are many wonderful ways that you can include something old in your wedding look. Look for a special object that has sentimental value.
