You will find many guidebooks that list the calories in different fruits. You will be able to find out a lot of information as far as how many calories fruit has this way. In addition, there is a lot of information on various websites. This can help you get an idea of how many calories the piece of fruit has.
Take the size of the fruit into consideration
One banana can literally be twice the size of another banana, and thus it will have a different number of calories. Many other fruits vary as well. You will definitely want to take that into consideration. When you look at the guidebooks, many times they just give an average. Sometimes they say that it counts for an average sized-fruit, so you can add or delete if your piece of fruit is larger or smaller than average. You might be able to find a guidebook that breaks it down by the size of fruit.
Weigh the actual fruit that you are going to eat
