There are many great back-to-school bulletin board ideas for kindergarten. Consider the following possibilities.
“Get to know the students” bulletin board
One nice idea is to focus on the students. You can place pictures of all of the individual children on the board. Underneath their pictures you can put some information about them such as their birthday, where they were born, their likes and dislikes and so forth. You can take digital pictures the first day and have it up by the second day. A lot of kids would enjoy seeing their picture up. You can also put up the picture of the teacher and any assistants or important school staff so they can learn about the people who will be teaching them.
“Collage of different subjects they will learn” bulletin board
There are many different subjects that are taught in a kindergarten classroom. You will go over subjects like spelling, numbers, social studies and ore. One idea is to make a back to school board that is a collage of the different things the students will be doing. For instance, if the students will be learning about animals, you can put up pictures of different creatures. You can put up a small ABC banner. You can put up different numbers.

You can use orange construction paper to make the bulletin board look like it has a big school bus. You can put an appropriate title like “Welcome to school!” You can have pictures of kids in the school bus.

You can also put in a picture of an old-time red school house, complete with bell. There are photographs you can get or you can just create your own using art materials such as construction paper, scissors, glue, etc.
A bulletin board can be a very pretty back-to-school display that can be educational as well. No matter what type you choose, try to make it bright and colorful.
