How to Make Changing a Diaper Easier
You might not ever think of changing diapers as convenient, but certain products can definitely make it more so. These can make diaper changing easier, quicker, less dirty and less painful for both you and the baby.
Diaper changing table/bassinet
Changing a baby’s diaper on the floor may be difficult on someones back. It is excellent if a parent has a specific place to change the baby. Of course it needs to be safe, and the baby should never be left unsupervised. If a diaper changing table comes with a belt for safety, then use that. One great option is to use a bassinet. You can place all of your supplies underneath. A bassinet typically has sides that are a little higher to protect the baby.
Wipes container
Instead of using the bendable plastic wipes container, consider buying a hard plastic container for the wipes. You can easily open it to take the wipes out in rapid succession.
Special diaper changing pad
There are many types of diaper-changing pads you can buy, and some are made for special purposes. For instance, you can buy a diaper pad that is specifically made to change babies in the car. Diaper supply caddy
Diaper changing can take a long time if you need to go to one place to get the diaper, another for the wipes, another for the diaper rash cream and so forth. Purchase a caddy to hold all of your items in one place. They make hanging ones that may be attached to a bassinet or some other place. There are standing ones, or you can fashion your own out of a general organizer.
