Most people prefer not to have a job with the title “most disgusting” job. However, unfortunately, some people do have these. Of course, what is disgusting to one person will not necessarily be disgusting to another. The following are the top 5 most disgusting jobs.
Janitor at a bathroom
Many people would consider nothing more disgusting than spending all day cleaning bathrooms. Of course, it is an essential job and someone has to do it, however it is unknown if anyone really wants to do it. Cleaning up toilets where people use the restroom, cleaning dirty sinks, emptying feminine napkin disposal units – many people hate to do these things in their own homes, much less to do it for others. This would top many peoples’ list of the most disgusting jobs.
Garbage man
“What is one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” might be how the saying goes, but in this case, it really is trash. Most would consider constantly hauling, moving and of course smelling trash to be quite a disgusting job. You are constantly around it. Again, many hate this part of the work at home, and would hate even more to be touching other people’s trash. You could likely consider any job dealing with trash disgusting, whether you are the one putting it into the truck or dealing with it when it gets to the landfill or wherever else it may be.
Plumber
If cleaning toilets wasn’t enough, imagine having to go even deeper. Plumbers get to explore the areas most of us never would want to. The inner workings of the sink that has washed away all of your dirt is bad enough, but dealing with the toilet might take the crown of disgusting.
Butcher
Even those who eat meat might be disgusted by what a butcher does. Especially with larger animals, this sort of work would turn many people’s heads. Some people can’t even deal with raw meat in their own homes – and the job of a butcher is much worse.
Taxidermist
Most would probably not like to stuff and mount dead animals. This might especially be the case with deer and the other animals that taxidermists often deal with. That is why taxidermist earns a spot on the top 5 most disgusting jobs.
