You can secure it high on the back of your head or make it lower by the nape of your neck. Many people choose to do this to keep their hair out of their faces. If you use a big fancy ribbon, it can even be appropriate for some nicer occasions.
Clip on the side
One very pretty hairstyle is to put a little of your hair in a clip on the side of your head (i.e. just to the side of your temple). This can be very pretty. They make many clips that have swarovski crystals, and this could even be nice for a special event. You can put it on one side or put it on both sides. When doing both sides just make sure that the clips are even.
