You want to talk about the different responsibilities so that people will have a very good idea of what is to be expected of them so that they will know if they will be able to do it. Many people give a bullet list of job responsibilities. You also might want to give a general gist of the company as a whole.
Be clear with applicant schooling/experience requirements
You will want to be very clear with your requirements. First, you will want to be sure to put down any school requirements such as specific degrees or certain majors. They you will want to talk about prior work experience. Put down the amount of years that you want them to have worked. If you will absolutely not consider someone with less than that, then you might want to specifically say that because otherwise you might get applicants who are under-qualified still apply and waste your time. If you wouldn’t mind someone who has a little less, then you can leave that out. Also, if you are willing to take more experience for less schooling or vise versa, then you can mention that.
Put in any special skills that are required
You may need the candidate to be fluent in foreign language. Perhaps you need them to know certain computer software. Whatever the special skills you require, be very clear with them. Many people will list the computer programs the candidates must be proficient in. You can also put in skills that are desirable but not mandatory.
Put in what you can offer them
Putting in the salary is optional. Some choose to while others do not. However, many people will say that they offer competitive salaries. You also might want to discuss benefits, insurance and other perks of the job.
Give clear details of how they can apply (and what not to do)
Make sure that they know exactly how to apply. Also, if there are ways you do not want to be contacted, then specify that as well. You may want to give a name and/or number they can call for information.
