Creative Ways to Wrap Holiday Gifts

The first thing that people will see when they get a present is not the actual item but the gift wrap. There are many creative ways to wrap holiday gifts. Try the following ideas this holiday season.
Wrap with children’s drawings
If you have kids, you may find that they love to create artwork with crayons, pencils, paints, etc. You may end up with far more of these masterpieces than will fit on your fridge. One way to get good use out of them and save money on wrapping paper is to use these as your wrapping paper. You can buy big rolls of paper. Have your kids make whatever designs they want. Even children as young as one may be able to scribble a little (although watch to make sure they do not eat the crayons!) You can then use this as regular wrapping paper. Many of the relatives will probably gingerly unwrap it so that they can keep the paper as part of the gift!

Another way to save money on wrapping and do is creatively is to use the comic section of the newspaper to wrap the presents. There are many different styles that you can purchase, and these are often only a dollar. Your recipients can use them to go shopping themselves. These come in different sizes, and many have attractive designs on them.
Wrap with pictures
Make people have photo printers, and you can incorporate pictures of the gift recipients or of your children into the wrap. There are different ways to bring this to life. You can print out paper with pictures and then use that as your wrapping paper. Alternatively you can use a traditional wrapping paper but then cover it with different photographs.
