Whether you are decorating for a school or a club sport, there are many ways that you can decorate with team spirit. With just a few tools, you can turn an ordinary space into a space dedicated to rooting for the team.
Use the colors
You want to decorate with the team colors. Just this alone can make a huge difference. Those who are permanently decorating an area can just paint with the team colors. You can use furnishings that contain these colors as well. This will especially stand out if the colors are bright such as yellow and red. If you are decorating your home, then you can use those colors as the main colors or as embellishments in your home
Streamers
Streamers are an inexpensive and easy way to decorate with team spirit. Hang these along the walls. You can have them hanging down from the ceilings. You can have streamers in the team colors or with sayings such as “Go team!” If you want something permanent for the home, then you can use drapes, fabric and curtains with the colors.
Banners
Pronounce your team spirit with large banners. These can give positive messages to the team. For instance, if the team is the Thundercats, you can say “Good Luck Thundercats,” “Roar Thundercats,” or “Go Thundercats!” You can do these by hand, print them out on a computer or order them professionally. These can be large rectangular banners or the smaller triangular ones. These look great in a game room.
Team symbols and embellishments
You can put up signs of the team. For instance, place up pictures of the team mascot. If the team has a symbol or logo then you can use that. You can also just put up general items that signify your love for the sport. You can put up a poster with a football on it, for instance.

You can put up sports memorabilia that represents the team. For instance, you can put up a signed football or baseball. You can frame a signed jersey and hang that on the wall.
