Disadvantages of having a Disneyland Annual Pass

(400 Words)
A Disneyland annual pass may seem like a wonderful thing to have, however there are disadvantages to purchasing such a pass. Consider the following drawbacks when deciding whether to make this purchase.
The Money
Of course what most would consider to be the biggest drawback is the cost of the Disneyland annual pass. It is not cheap. The exact cost will depend on which exact pass you get and whether you are eligible for any discounts but it can be hundreds of dollars. What’s more, you have to multiply the passes by the amount of family members in the family (except for very young kids). Of course the costs of visiting Disneyland do not end there. The park can be very expensive in other aspects. If you do not live locally, then you will have to have to pay for the cost of transportation. You may have to pay for a hotel. You will have to pay to eat out. Many other miscellaneous costs may arise. Many people are cutting back, and a Disneyland annual pass may simply not be in the budget.
You may feel compelled to go again and again
A lot of people love Disneyland, however some get tired of it. When you have an annual pass you may feel like you have to go a lot to get your money’s worth out of it. You may start to feel worn out by the park. Disneyland can be a hot and crowded and you may get frustrated.
When you have the pass you may forgo other vacations. You may just not feel right spending money on something else when you already have the Disneyland annual passes. You may simply not have the money since you spent it all on the passes. You may like to have more variety in your vacation schedule, but be unable to do so if you have the annual pass.
Circumstances may also change, causing your Disneyland annual passes to be wasted. For instance, let’s say that your job suddenly gets transferred three months after you get the passes. You have to move away and will not be able to use the passes for which you spent so much money.
You will want to think long and hard when deciding whether to purchase a Disneyland annual pass. You should take into account the above points when deciding whether this is right for you.
