On many of the spaces are properties from Atlantic City. You can buy them if they are not owned and from then on everyone else who steps on them will have to pay you “€œrent.”€ You can make them more valuable by improving them with houses and hotels. There is a banker and you will earn and use money as you go around the board. There are other spots that can earn you money through “€œchance”€ cards or cost you money through fines. At the end the player with the most money wins. The game can take quite a while but teaches children about money and investing.
Scrabble
Kids who enjoy word games will love to play Scrabble. There is a large 225 tile board and tiles with letters on them (plus two blank). Each letter has a point value assigned to it; the harder the number is to place, the higher the number will be. When one places a word, he or she gets the point value from all of the letters. If he or she lands on a bonus spot such as a spot that says to double the value of the word, then he or she will get those extra points. The points are tallied when all of the tiles have been used, and the person with the highest score is the winner.
Clue
