There are many great places to go on a first date in Broward County, Florida. The county is big with many places to eat and play. Consider your budget and preferences and think about the following places.
Arcade
Just because you are grown up does not mean that you have to act like it. It can be great to have a little fun on your date, and there are different places in Broward County, Florida, that are geared towards this. Dave and Busters in Hollywood, Florida, is a great place to go on a first date. They have an eatery, pool tables and lots of fun arcade games. They are specifically geared towards the adult crowd so you will usually not be surrounded by hundreds of tiny tots. They have a bar in the middle where you can sit down and have a drink. The location is spacious and well appointed. Another great arcade is Gameworks, located at the Sawgrass Mills Mall. They also have an eatery if you want to combine your game playing with some food. They have different specials to save you money on playing. You can go day or night to these for your date.
Restaurants
Of course, a lot of people like to go out to eat on a first date for some nice conversation. There are delicious Italian restaurants such as Big Tomato. Vegetarians might like the fun salad bar restaurant of Sweet Tomatoes. Pizza lovers might like Mario’s in Pembroke Pines. If you like Greek, then you can look at Mythos in northern Broward County. You will find many other chains as well as mom and pop restaurants.
Movies
Of course, many like to go to the movies on a first date, and you will find them scattered all over Broward County. You can go to the beautifully appointed Cinemark Paradise in Pembroke Pines, for instance. You can also see 3D movies at places like Sawgrass Mills Mall and the IMAX theater.
Beach
The people of Broward County, Florida, are fortunate enough to have a wide expanse of beach. You could go to Hollywood or Ft. Lauderdale Beach. There are many places to eat along the beach or you can just go for a pleasant walk on the sand and watch the waves over the ocean. You can bring your own picnic. Also, places like Hollywood Beach have year round entertainment several days a week in an outdoor band shell free of charge. Parking is reasonable so this doesn’t have to be an expensive date.
There are many other great places for a first date for those that have special interests. If you like science then you can go to the Museum of Discovery and Science in Ft. Lauderdale. Nature lovers can go to a park like Tree Tops Park. Think about what you would like and consider the above locations for a great first date.
