You may think of socks as simple pieces of clothing that are all the same, however there are a wide variety of socks. Every woman should own at least one of the following types of socks, which are suitable for different times and places.
Super soft socks
Every woman should have a pair of super soft socks. These socks are fuzzy and cozy and make you feel like you are walking on a cloud. They may or may not be too thick to wear with your shoes, but they are the best socks to wear on a cold winter’s night. They come in different styles, shapes and sizes.
Sock slippers
You may want to wear slipper socks at some point. These socks have little pads on the bottom so it is easy to walk on them without slipping. You might find these convenient when you go to a hotel.
Thin work socks
A woman should have some socks that she can wear under a nice pair of shoes. They may be relatively thin and unassuming. For instance, if you wear black pants and a black ankle boot, then plain black socks can provide the comfort you need but look like they are a natural extension of the boot. You might also want some other mute colors like beige based on what colors you wear.
White athletic/everyday socks
You want some comfortable socks that you can wear when you wear your sneakers or tennis shoes. These should be comfortable and good for when you are exercising or spending a lot of time walking. If you have white sneakers, then you might want to get plain white socks to go along with them.
They make these socks in different lengths, so you can just choose what is most comfortable for you. If you want something very small, you can just get an ankle sock. For a longer look go for an ankle length or something that covers part or all of the calves.
Fun socks
Every woman should have one or more pairs of fun socks. For instance, you can get socks to celebrate the different seasons. For Valentine’s Day you can get socks with hearts on them, and for Halloween you can get pumpkin socks.
They also make socks with characters on it. You can get Superman socks that have little capes. You will find a wide variety of these socks at stores like Target as well as department stores.
There are many different types of socks. Every woman should consider each of the above types.
