: How to Incorporate Fresh Flowers into your Headpiece for your Wedding
One very unique way to wear your hair for your wedding is to have a headpiece with some fresh flowers in it. This can be very pretty and bring the beauty of nature into your special day. There are many ways to do this, including the following.
Make a headband with fresh flowers
Your florist can start this with a regular headband. They can then wrap it in chiffon. They can then place the flowers on it and use a wire to wrap around it so that it stays. There are many different flowers that would look beautiful on this type of headpiece, although make sure that they are not so big that they overwhelm you. Roses would look beautiful. You can add smaller flowers like baby’s breath. You can also add small sunflowers to make a very earthy feel. It can be something very colorful, something all white or a mixture of soft colors.
Make a ring of flowers
You can also put flowers onto a ring, which you place horizontally on your head. You might see a lot of people wearing something akin to this at Renaissance fairs. This is very sweet. You can make it much like you made the headband except start with a ring (or make your own ring with wire). Add the flowers. Some people will also choose to have their veil coming down from that or ribbons instead. You can also add some pretty flowers to the ribbons or veil.
Make some combs with fresh flowers
Some people just want a few combs in their hair. They might put it in with a French twist or just use it to hold up the side of their hair away from their face. You can add some of the flowers to the top of the comb. You might be able to easily thread the stems through the teeth of the comb. You can also add it to a clip if this is what you will be using in your hair.
Add it to a hat
Some women choose to wear hats on their wedding day. You can attach fresh flowers to the brim of your hat.
Flowers throughout the hair
One very beautiful look is for it to look like you have flowers throughout your hair. You can add little coils to the back of flowers and thread these through your hair. You can also attach them to tiny clips that you cannot see. This is often best with very tiny flowers.
