How to Make a first Date Memorable
Most people want that first date to be very memorable. There are different steps to take to accomplish this, including the following.
Do something special for the other person
It is often the little things that you do that the person will remember because they are so thoughtful. For instance, you might want to bring your date flowers. Even a single rose can be very memorable. It is very sweet. You can also try to do something a little different like get her a corsage to wear on her dress. Many women might appreciate a gesture such as this.
Pick something fun to do
You may not remember much about a standard dinner and movie date but if you can do something a little different then you might have something that stands out in your mind. For instance, you can go to an arcade and play games like you used to love to do when you were younger. Perhaps you can go to a park (as long as you are not uncomfortable with how secluded it is) and just have a lovely picnic while listening to the birds in the background. Perhaps there is some sort of festival going on, which provides for something different. Of course, make sure to pick something that both people like. If one person things that arcades really are childish, then that might make it memorable in a bad way.
Go all out with how you look
There are things you cannot change about your appearance but there is much that you can. You want your date to admire – and remember – how you look on your first date. First a snazzy, but appropriate, outfit. Take the time to do your hair nice. Show that you really care about how you look and present yourself.
Show them what a great personality you have
Sometimes what someone will remember the most of all is how nice you are to them. You can do something extraordinary. Give them a compliment, which can be something that someone remembers, especially if it is genuine. Try to inject humor. Show that you are a great listener. You also want your date to remember you as someone who is very confident.
You want your first date to be memorable – and in a good way. Consider the above tactics to help you make a date that your partner will take notice of, and hopefully score you that second date.
