Jobs that Involve a Lot of Traveling

If seeing the world is one of your goals, then you may want to consider a job that involves a lot of travelling. There are many such jobs, and they range greatly in duties, qualifications and requirements. You may consider one of the following positions.
Military
Serving your country is an honorable endeavor. Not only do those in the military travel to a great extent, they also get the opportunity to live in exotic places. You can experience different cultures from an insider’s view.
Pilot
Those who love to soar through the sky may choose a job as a pilot. These positions require a lot of skill and can be competitive, but the pay is fairly high. Not only do pilots reach the locations to which they fly in the course of their jobs, but many will get free flights as an added benefit.
Flight attendant
Those who enjoy flying but wish for something with less training and competition than a pilot’s position may choose to be a flight attendant. They will often get the same benefit of being able to fly free of charge.
Travel writer
Masters of the written word can combine the love of writing and travelling by becoming a travel writer. Travel writers can work for themselves on a freelance basis, or they may work for a newspaper, magazine or other publication.
Travelling nurse/companion
A nurse may travel with someone who is elderly or sick while on vacation or necessary travel. This can pay very well. They may travel always with one person or provide this service to a variety of people.
Someone who does not need a nurse but would like a travelling companion may also hire you to travel with them. Not only will you enjoy the travel for free but you will get paid as well.
Business
Many in business travel a great deal. Those who are in higher level management may travel to different stores, branches, manufacturing plants, etc. of a company. Salespeople will often travel around quite a bit as well. Some people act as representatives of the company for clients.
Cruise ship
Those who work on a cruise ship can see the world. There are many ships, and they travel to all different locations. The jobs on a ship are varied, from performers to crew members to cooks and more.
Travel is a component of many different jobs. Before you accept a job, consider the travel involved.
