People to Thank During the Bride and Grooms Wedding Toast

It is your special day, and you are about to give your toast. There are many things you might say during your toast and many people you might thank. The following are some people you might want to consider expressing your gratitude to when you are giving a toast on your wedding day.
Your new spouse
Many people thank their new spouses. They thank them for being that one person and for promising to share their lives with them. This can be one of the sweetest parts of a wedding toast, the part that inspires many “Awwws.” You can tell him or her why you love him or her and why you are glad that you will be spending the rest of your lives together.
Your parents
Many people choose to thank their parents on this special day. Of course, a lot of the time the parents are paying for all or a portion of the wedding. You do not have to go into financial details, but thanking the people who brought you into this world, raised you and gave you the opportunities that you have is a very nice thing to do. Many people will go into details about what their parents have done for them.
Your siblings
Many people will mention their siblings in their toast, especially if they have a close bond.
Best man/Maid of Honor
You might want to thank your Best Man or Maid of Honor for what they have done. These people will often have organized things such as the bridal shower and bachelor party. Of course, they stood up for you. Now might be a good time to show your gratitude. You might also want to thank your bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Grandparents
If you have living grandparents, it might be special to include them in your thanks. Chances are they did a lot for you as you were growing up, and it might be very special if you can remember them.
Others who contributed to the wedding
If there is anyone else who made a contribution to the wedding, either financially or in other ways, then you might want to consider mentioning them in the toast. This can be friends, a wedding coordinator, another vendor or someone else.
Everyone there
You may want to give a big shout out to everyone there. Your friends, family and loved ones have come from all over in order to celebrate this special day with you. You might want to tell them how much you appreciate them being there.
