Small kitchen appliances may be useful, but they are not always the most attractive items in a kitchen. There are a number of ways that you can hide them, however. Consider the following methods.
Put them in a large ceramic jar or canister
A lot of people have ceramic jars and canisters in their houses. They may have them for sugar, flour, etc. Some of them say things whereas others have pretty designs on them. If you get a large one and have a small appliance, then you might be able to hide it in there. This can keep them out of sight in something that adds to the beauty of your kitchen.
Place them in the pantry
Even though the pantry is not traditionally used for appliances, there is no reason why you can’t place them in there. You can just keep some shelf space open for them. They will be invisible but still within easy reach.
Place them in baskets
Wicker baskets can be very pretty in a kitchen. A lot of people like to decorate with them. You can get these in very small or large sizes. You can place some of your small kitchen appliances in these wicker baskets. Some of them have a cover that is built in, whereas others you can cover with a pretty piece of fabric.
Place them behind something attractive
You can keep your small kitchen appliances in the kitchen but hide them from view by placing some things in front of them. There are many different items that you could use. For instance, you can put some pretty potted plants in front of them. You can even put fake plants. You can also put a nice picture of the family in front of them. You can put some decorative jars or glasses. There is no right or wrong to what you use as long as it looks right in a kitchen and covers up the sight of the small kitchen appliances.
Place them high on something
You may be able to hide your small kitchen appliances by placing them high up. For instance, you could put them on top of your fridge all the way to the back. They might not be visible and you can use a step stool to easily grab them if you are of smaller stature.
There is no reason that you have to display your small kitchen appliances if you do not want to. Consider the above unique ways of hiding these items to make for a more attractive kitchen.
