A party is not always possible for every child. Perhaps you do not have time to do it or do not have the funds. Perhaps the child does not like parties or does not enough friends to make one. For whatever reason, there are many ways to make a birthday special for a child without a party. The following are special things that you can do.
Take him on her on a little trip
Many children might enjoy a little trip instead of a party. If you live near some sort of attraction such as the Disney Theme Parks, then you could consider doing that. You can make it a day trip or a trip of a longer duration. You could take him or her on a little cruise. If money is an issue, you can do some sort of low cost thing such as taking him or her camping.
Take him or her out for a special birthday dinner
Many children might have a very special restaurant that they love to go to. You could take him to his or her favorite restaurant. You could let them order something special, such as an appetizer you wouldn’t normally get or a wonderful dessert. You can splurge on them. You could also invite a few people to come along such as family.
Do a special day activity
You can take him or her to whatever activity they love to do during the day. It might be a trip to the zoo, aquarium, water park, beach or whatever else they love. You might let them bring a friend or two along. You could let them do something special there such as have a special meal or do something they would not normally do.
Bake a birthday cake with them
Baking the birthday cake might be as enjoyable as actually eating it. You can do it together, and have them help decorate it. You can also make a special birthday meal together. It can be very special for them to eat the special meal that they made themselves.
Let them choose whatever they want to do
Let the child be the master of the day. Most of the time, the adults will choose what to do but on this day the child can make the decision. You will do the activity he or she wants, watch the movie he or she wants and let them know that they can be in charge for one day.
Most of all, make sure your child knows how much you love him or her and are glad they came into your life.
