Who to take with you when trying on Wedding Dresses

It might seem like one of the most important decisions of your life. Which wedding dress should you buy? Many agonize over this decision, and they want their loved ones with them to provide support and help them make their decision. Use the following guide to help you decide whom to take with you when trying on wedding dresses.
Your mother
A lot of women want their mothers to come with them when selecting a gown. It might be something that your mother has dreamed of ever since the doctor said it was a little girl. It can be a wonderful way that you can bond.
Father
A lot of women are still Daddy’s little girls at heart. You may want to see that gleam in your father’s eyes when you walk out of the dressing room in “the right dress.” His opinion might be very important to you, thus you might want to make sure that he likes the gown.
Siblings
A lot of women consider their brothers and sisters to be their best friends, and they may want them there when making this decision. Some may be a little more skewed towards having their sisters with them since they may have been shopping for clothing together ever since they were little girls.
Fiancé
There is much controversy surrounding bringing the fiancé when wedding dress shopping. Many brides shy away from this, and a lot think that it is bad luck for him to see the dress before the actual day. Some brides want it to be a surprise. For other brides, however, their fiancé is the person they are most focused on and they want him to share in this special experience. Thus there is no right or wrong – it is based on what you are comfortable with and want to do. You should only take him if you truly want to, however, and not because he pushes his way into it.
Bridal party
A lot of women want their bridal party to come with them when going wedding dress shopping. They may be their closest friends and family members. The bride has asked them to stand with her during the wedding, and they can help her get prepared.
Groom’s family
A lot of brides want to forge bonds with their new family. As a nice gesture they may bring along their future mother-in-law or other family members.
When going wedding dress shopping you should just bring who is important in your life. You can bring other family members like aunts and of course dear friends. It is also important however to choose people who will be supportive and thoughtful of you. No matter how close a relation, be careful about picking anyone who is very aggressive is putting out their own opinion and getting their own way. It is unbelievable but some people will sometimes “hijack” wedding appointments and then the bride may not get what they want. You should choose people who will help you make the decision that is right for you, not push you into what they think you should get.
Choosing a wedding dress is very special. Consider brining the above supporters with you.
