Bulletin Board Ideas Fish Theme

A lot of children love fish, and this can make a nice subject for a bulletin board. Consider the following ideas when making your fishy board.
Make the bulletin board look like an aquarium
You can make the bulletin board great to look at and educational as well by pretending that it is one big fish tank. You can use blue construction paper as your background. You can then post up real pictures or drawings of different types of fish that they might see in an fish tank like a beta fish or goldfish. You can also put some information about those fish as well. You can add some blue clear plastic over them to make it look more realistic. You can add in other details like gluing a little gravel for the bottom. Alternatively you could see if you could get some tiny fish stuffed animals and attach those so that the bulletin board literally pops out at them.
Make it look like the ocean
You do not have to limit yourself to a fish tank and small fish. Instead you can make the bulletin board look like the great blue sea. In this case, you can draw in pictures of much larger fish. If you want to get the kids involved, then you can have them draw pictures of fish or color on a fish cut out from construction paper and then attach that to the board so that all of their art projects are swimming along. You can use markers, paints and other supplies to add in other details to the bulletin board such as bubbles, coral reef and more.
Facts about fish interactive bulletin board
For children who like to participate, you can make the bulletin board interactive in educating them about fish. For instance, you can have the pictures of different fish on one side of the board and the names of the fish on the other. They need to try to guess which goes with what. Alternatively, you can also have paper folded in half so that it has a flap that comes up. On the top you can ask a question about fish (such as “What is the largest fish?”) and when they lift up the flap the answer is there.
A fish theme can be very interesting for the students and fun to look at as well. Consider the above ideas when putting together your board.
