Bulletin Board Ideas Friends

A bulletin board can be a great way to teach the children about friends, show them the right way to behave with their friends and teach them about how to obtain such comrades. The following are some ways you can make this board.
Show pictures of friends
A lot of kids are drawn to pictures, and this can be a focal point of your bulletin board You can show photographs, drawings or paintings of friends from America and even around the world. If you want the children to literally be in the board, you can take photographs of the different friends in the class and use these to illustrate the point of the board. Just make sure that everyone gets included. You should also be sure to depict that you can be friends with people who are not like you such as people with different backgrounds and those with disabilities such as those who are in wheelchairs.
Write about the importance of friends
You can write out different points about why having friends is important. It can be about someone who is there to talk to, about having someone to have fun with and so forth. You can have the children come up with these and then print them out on the computer and add them to the board.
Great activities to do with friends
Your bulletin board can explore all of the fun and healthy things one can do with friends. For instance, you can show friends playing sports together, talking on the phone and so forth. If the kids are a little older and you also want to show what you should not do with friends you can show one trying to peer pressure the other or passing notes, talking in class, etc.
Show the ways that you can get friends
Some kids have no trouble at all finding friends. It seems as if others just gravitate towards them as they are just naturally socially adept. Other children have problems and might benefit from some suggestions on obtaining friends on the bulletin board. For instance, you can show someone including the new kid in the class in a school project. You can show someone sharing their toys with a child that doesn’t have any.
Primary school is a time that children are learning how to make and maintain friendships, some of which they will keep for a lifetime. Utilize the bulletin board in the above ways to help promote this.
