32 Words: 8 Best Times to go to a Craft Fair

2438 Words: 467
Craft fairs are wonderful places to shop for unique items. You can buy things for yourself or as gifts. There are many arts and crafts fairs around the country. Some will run for one day, some will run for two, others for a weekend (Friday-Sunday) and yet others will run at different times. You might get a different experience depending on when you go, so the best time to go for one person might not be the best time for another person. The following are the best times to go to a craft fair.
Go as soon as it opens
There are definite advantages to going to a craft fair as soon as it opens. The best reason is that you will get your choice of all of the items. Many of the items at craft fairs are unique, one-of-a-kind items. The better the item and the higher the quality it is, the more likely it is to get purchased quickly. Some people might sell out of certain types of items all together, especially if they are offering good deals. You do not want to see an item that you absolutely love, only to see that it has a big sold sign on it. The best way to give yourself the best chance of seeing absolutely everything that someone has to offer is by going first thing when it starts. In addition, some vendors might leave a craft fair altogether if things are not going their way and they are not selling a lot. By going early, you may give yourself your best shot of seeing absolutely everything in the fair and getting first dibbs at the products.
Go at the end
There are also advantages to going to a craft fair at the very end. The main advantage is that you might be able to get a good deal on some things. The vendors often have sales goals. Perhaps they do not want to carry everything back with them or perhaps they just want to get some sales in. For whatever reason, vendors will often drop the prices or give better deals at the end of arts and crafts fairs. You will often be able to bargain them down more at the end, especially if you buy several things from the same person.
Go in the middle
By going in the middle you will get a little of each of the advantages described above. They might not have their full selection of items, but they will have more than they will have at the end. They may not be going down in price as much as at the end, but they might be starting to drop a little. Consider the above factors (and obviously your own schedule) to decide the time that is right for you.
