A vegan might eat a lot of low calories vegetables and relatively low calorie fruits.
Many people who are vegan eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Most vegetables have very few calories and can be great to munch on and still lose weight. Many are not vegan because they have items such as butter, milk and eggs. Ice cream is another that is usually not great for weight loss. By choosing other vegan items, you will often have a better chance of losing weight. Many of the soy based substitutes are much better for you and lower in calories and fat.
