Formal Apparel every Woman should own

Every women will want to have an assortment of clothing in her closet, including formalwear for special occasions. The depth and breadth of this will vary based on the woman and her particular needs, yet most women may find use for the following items.
Evening gown
Every once in a while, you may get the chance to be Cinderella, and you will need something to wear. You may want to have one or more evening gowns in your wardrobe. You may wear this to a black tie wedding, a formal holiday party, a cruise event or another occasion that may arise.

Although a formal evening gown may not get much use, a cocktail dress may be used again and again and is an essential in most women’s wardrobes. Formal coat
When you go out in your formal attire when the temperature is low, you do not want to be forced to carry along your denim jean jacket from middle school. You will want an attractive coat that will go well with your formal attire. It may be a long wool black coat or a soft coat in cream.
Alternatively or in addition to a heavier coat, you may also want a formal sweater that you can wear on days when you need just a little something extra to keep warm.
Fancy shoes
Imagine this: a beautiful, formal evening gown dripping in Swarovski crystals and diamonds… and sneakers. It’s not a pretty image. When you have the right clothing, you need the right shoes, and some women literally pay more for their shoes than for their clothing. You do not need a pair to match every outfit, of course, however there are some basic pieces you will want. Many women like to have a pair of white high heels and a pair of black ones. They can also be flats as long as they are formal. There are many different designs of formal shoes for women, some with crystals and other embellishments, and if you only want one, then choose something that is versatile and matches your existing formal clothing.
Formal accessories
There are many other accessories that you may choose to wear with formal clothing. Many women have fancy jewelry, either costume or genuine. You may want a wrap for those colder days. Many women will need a nice hat, scarf and gloves if they live in a colder climate, which will go well with formal clothing.
