Inexpensive Party Favors for a Halloween Party
If you are having a party to celebrate the fun holiday of Halloween, then you might want to give out party favors as treats to those leaving. Of course, many hosts don’t have a lot to spend on these items, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t give away some great gifts. Consider the following party favors.
Halloween jewelry
This is inexpensive and can make great party favors. We’re not talking gold. You can get your guests some of the iconic black plastic spider rings. They make other rings as well such as those of pumpkins, witches and ghosts. They also make a lot of black and orange bead necklaces. Some of them light up, which is fun for a lot of children and adults alike. They also make a lot of bracelets and other items with images of witches, ghosts and other Halloween-related pictures. They also make jewelry that will glow for a while when it is bent.
Halloween book
You might want to put a book in to celebrate Halloween. This can be a great party favor for little kids, especially those that are very young. You can look in the dollar section for these.
Crayons and coloring pages
You can buy a huge package of crayons for very little, which you can then split amongst all of the different favor bags. You can then print out coloring pages or get a big coloring book and give each child several pages from it. This can be within the theme of Halloween, be fun for the kids to do and cost next to nothing for each child.
Candy
Of course, Halloween is all about candy, and this can make a great party favor for children or adults. Around Halloween, you can buy a big lot of candy, so it is often inexpensive. Make sure to adhere to any allergies or dietary restrictions that people have.
Halloween stickers
Stickers often cost very little. You can buy some huge sheets and then cut them up yourself to save even more money. If it is for young children then you can get something “cute” like little pumpkins. For older kids you might get something scarier like a haunted house.
Halloween stationary items
For adults or older kids you can give away inexpensive items like Halloween pencils or notepads.
You do not have to spend a lot on party favors for your Halloween party to make them fun. Consider the above ideas when making your favor bags.
