: The different Ways to Curl Hair

:
(404 Words)
There are many different ways to curl hair. How you do it will depend on how long you want to spend on it, whether you are going to do it yourself or have a professional do it, how permanent you want it to be and how long you want it to last. Consider the following strategies.
Get a perm
If you want something that is going to last for a while and you have the money to spend, you can go to a salon and get a perm. They can change your hair chemically so that it is curly. You will have different options for how curly you want it. The downside is that if you change your mind after a week, you may have a problem.
Curling iron
If you want a temporary measure then you can purchase a curling iron. Many different companies make these handheld tools. They consist of a long wand that gets hot. Part of it pivots out to catch the hair and then you twirl the hair around it. You can only do a little bit of hair at one time so it can be time consuming. In addition, it can be challenging for some people to do to their own hair.
Curlers
A lot of people try some sort of curlers for their hair. Some of them heat up and then you put them in your hair and let them stay there. Some people keep them in overnight or spray them with product in order to help maintain the curl. When you take them out, your hair should be curly. The size curlers you get will decide the type of curl and how tight it is.
Braids
One easy way to get your hair curly is to first wash it. You can then braid it. You can use one big braid for waves or a lot of little braids for more curls. You can keep it in for a few hours or overnight. When you take it out it may still keep some of the curl from the braids.
There are also many products that can help you get curly hair. Some add volume. Some help people who have somewhat curly hair keep the curls better without it becoming frizzy.
A lot of women would love to have a head full of curls. If this is the look you are going for, then consider the above ideas.
