Retail position
Many college students may want to work as a retail associate in a store. This can be a great job for a college student because it may fit in perfectly with their winter break. In addition, they may be competing for these jobs with high school students who are younger than them. Because of this, they may be more likely to get these positions because many managers might equate someone who is older and in college as someone who is more responsible. A college student could go to the local mall and go from one store to the next filling out applications.
Working at a winter camp
Many college students may enjoy working at some sort of winter camp for children. This can be great experience for someone who is majoring in education or another subject related to children. There are different camps that operate during the winter break to accommodate working parents with young children who are off from school. Some of them are general all-around camps whereas others are focused on a certain area such as a specific sport. A college student may enjoy this job more than working in a store, and a lot of the places will only want someone who is already an adult.
