Administrative Professionals Week is a special time to celebrate those who help you keep your office running smoothly. There are many ways that you can recognize this day, including the following methods.
Bring flowers or plants to all of your administrative professionals
Many administrative professionals would enjoy some flowers. This can be a nice display that they can keep at their desk and show off to all in the office. You can give fresh cut flowers in a vase, an arrangement, or a plant, which will last longer and may be more suitable for a male administrative professional. They will also sometimes specifically make arrangements for this occasion that have a message in them or come with a balloon.
Get a card signed by the entire office
Your administrative professionals might feel very special when you present them with a card signed by all of the members of the office. You can make it a big card and ask that people write little messages to them about something that they really appreciate that they do.
Give the administrative professionals a gift
One great gift to give is a gift card. This works for many different people. You can even get them a Visa gift card or another one that can be used at a variety of different places. You can also get them a gift card to an eatery. You could also decide on another gift specifically tailored to the person. A gift basket can be a lot of fun.
Take them out for a meal
The office might want to take the administrative professionals out for a nice lunch or dinner. This can be a nice treat in order to thank them for the special role that they provide.
Mention them at a company meeting, e-mail, etc.
Sometimes the best gift of all is to have someone praise you. If you have company meetings then you can mention that it is Administrative Professionals week and that you are all thankful for all of the work that your administrative professionals do. You can have everyone give them a round of applause. You can also send out an e-mail mentioning the fact.
Miscellaneous perks
There might be different little perks you can give your administrative professionals. You might give them an extra day off. You might give them a better parking spot for the week.
