Many women swear by makeup and won’t set foot outside their house without wearing it. Others never put on the slightest amount. There are advantages and disadvantages to these products, and these can also differ from person to person. Advantages
It can make you look more attractive
Makeup can make a woman look more attractive. It can help highlight features that are beautiful such as plump lips or your gorgeous eyes. It can enhance your natural beauty, especially if it is done right.
It can make you look younger
Oftentimes makeup can smooth away some of the signs of age. It might fill in those wrinkles. It might take away other signs of aging. Some people find that this change can be significant, and some women who did not wear makeup when they were younger choose to wear it as they age for this reason.
It can hide blemishes
You probably do not want the world staring at that big red pimple on the tip of your nose. Makeup can help you hide these blemishes. There might be pimples, age spots, scars or other marks that you look better without.
Disadvantages
It can irritate or bother your skin/eyes/etc.
Some woman do not like what makeup does to their skin. It depends on the makeup but some of it can be irritating. They may find that it makes their skin more oily. If you use eye makeup then it might bother your eyes. Some woman also do not like having chemicals on their faces. This might be especially true for a lipstick, which can then enter the body through the mouth.
They do not like to have a “made up” look
We have all seen the women who walk around looking somewhat like circus clowns. You can definitely go overboard with too much makeup, and many women fear this. It can actually make some women look worse. Some people have a natural beauty that is taken away by the makeup.
It costs money
Makeup ranges greatly in cost, but some of it is quite expensive. It might just be an added cost in a time that many are facing financial difficulties. It can also get used up and go bad so you may have to buy it continuously.
