Creative Halloween Costume Ideas for Couples
There are many creative Halloween costume ideas for couples. You can look for something fun, spooky, scary or just plain silly. Consider the following ideas.
Each other
One fun idea is for the woman to pretend to be the guy and the guy to pretend to be the woman. This is not to say that they are just trying to be a person of the other gender, but specifically the other half of the couple. As such they should dress in their clothing or at least a replica of it if they cannot get it to fit. They may want to see if they could get some wigs. They could talk like the other person. They could have the same accessories. This can be a fun way and your friends will probably like it.
Washer and dryer
Another very creative set of costumes is a washer and dryer. You can make this with a large cardboard box that you attach some straps to the top of so that they stay on. At the front you can pin up some clothing. You can also put in dials. The more time and effort you put in, the more realistic it will look.
Condiments
They sell some costumes that make you look like you are a bottle of ketchup or mustard. You could each go as those. This can be very cute.
Fruit
You may want to dress up as different types of fruit. For instance, they sell a banana costume. The other person can wear the same costume or a different type of fruit.
Plumber and toilet
You can actually get or make a costume that looks like a toilet. These are very funny. You can buy a toilet seat (an unused one will probably be most sanitary) and attach it to a piece of clothing. The other person can wear overalls, carry a wrench and have a name tag that says that he or she is the plumber.
Famous Hollywood couple
There are many famous couples (or ex-couples) that you can go as. You can go as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for instance. You can go as Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson. Think about what you would enjoy portraying. You can also go as a famous political couple.
When Halloween comes, try to think of something creative for yourself and your significant other. The above ideas are some unique ones that you might want to try.
