:
(418 Words)
It is your child’s first Halloween and you want to get him or her something special. Of course, you will need to make sure that anything you get for them to hold onto is safe for the age of the child. Consider the following ideas.
Picture frame and picture of them celebrating their first Halloween
This is not something they will play with, of course, however it can make a great keepsake and memento that they can keep with them to see what their first Halloween was like. You will probably be taking plenty of pictures during this special time. You can get a nice photo frame. It can be a generic one or one that is made for Halloween. You can even get one that is personalized from a place such as Personalization Mall on the Internet that has their name on it and a saying such as “Baby’s First Halloween.” You can put the picture in it and it can be something that they keep in their room to look at and show off to others.
Little doll
They make some adorable little dolls to go along with Halloween. Again make sure that it is safe for all ages. You can get him or her something very cute such as a little soft pumpkin doll. They also make witches and other dolls.
Special keepsake
They make different figurines that you can get your baby. Again, this can be something that they can keep to remember that first adorable holiday.
Book
If you want to get something that the baby can get use out of now then you can get a cute book. You can get a board book that the child can hold (with supervision). They make many that are made for very young children. Five Little Pumpkins is a very cute one that a lot of little kids enjoy listening to. They also make some that are specific characters like Winnie the Pooh that your baby might like or that they will enjoy in the near future.
When your baby’s first Halloween comes around, a great way to celebrate is with some sort of special keepsake or item that the baby can play with right now. Of course, if you see something that you really like that is not yet appropriate for them such as a necklace, you can always get it and then put it away to save for them. You can also use the ideas listed above as your child’s first Halloween gift.
