: How to Choose Nursing Scrubs that Flatter your Body

:
(446 Words)
With their loose, jumpsuit-reminiscent look, nursing scrubs are not the most lovely outfits of all. There are ways, however, to find some that are more flattering and even attractive. Consider the following strategies.
Consider the color
The color can make a big difference in how attractive nursing scrubs are on you. Some colors such as a true royal blue are just beautiful in themselves to look at, and that might be enough to make it an attractive look. A lot of people find that the rich mauves or sky blues are also very pretty. Certain colors such as gray do not compliment a lot of people. Consider your own coloring. If you have a certain color eyes, for instance, then matching the nursing scrubs to them can make them stand out more and can provide an attractive combination.
Consider the print
A lot of people now where prints on nursing scrubs. You will want to very carefully consider this. Many of them are meant to be very “cute” or silly. It might look adorable on the hanger for instance, to find a set of nursing scrubs that has pictures of band-aids on them, but think about how that will really look on you. Probably less adorable. Some of the prints are so busy and wild that you might get lost in them. Some of them can be very pretty, however, and compliment you just like a printed shirt would. A combination of black and white looks good on a lot of people, for instance.
Consider the fit
One of the points of nursing scrubs is to make it comfortable to work so you are not restricted as you do your job. Just be careful about how loose they are. If they are swimming on you, they will not be attractive. It is also important to make sure that they are not too tight. Because they are not meant to be tight, it is often unflattering when you can see someone bulging underneath them. Make sure that you can move around, that they are not so tight to leave red marks anywhere but that they lightly skim your body and outline your shape in a flattering way
You will probably never wear your nursing scrubs out to a fancy restaurant for dinner, but at least you can wear something that is reasonably flattering. Instead of just picking out the nursing scrubs, be sure to try them on because something that looks good on a hanger might not look as good on you while something that looks bad on the hanger might actually do okay. The above strategies can help you find the nursing scrubs right for you.
