A scrapbook page based on dogs can be great for someone with a furry best friend. There are many different ways to create such a page. You may want to incorporate the following elements.
Start with a great background
Get your scrapbook page off the ground with a fitting background. You can buy some scrapbook paper that has images of dogs on it. You can also purchase wrapping paper or fabric with images of dogs, dog houses or something else related to these popular animals. You can take plain paper and use colored pencils, crayons or paints to draw in little paw prints. You can also just use a plain background if you want to have your other items stand out more. Some will also put in a border such as a ribbon with paw prints.
Put in photographs of your furry friend
If you have a dog that you love then you can put in photographs. It can be one or you can put in several such as pictures of him as a new puppy, pictures of him taking a bath, pictures of him in a dog show, etc.
Put in writing about your dog
You can have a cute title like “Dog Tales.” You can paint it, write it, or get stickers to spell it out. Then you can write or type out information about your dog. For instance, you can write your dog’s name, the breed he or she is, when and where he was born, how much he weighs, what he eats, etc. You can write in games he likes to play like fetch and write in little stories about funny things that happened with him such as the day he got into the cream pie.
Put in little mementos from your experiences with your pet
A scrapbook page may be the perfect place to store some nostalgic items from your dog. You may have gotten an adoption form from the pound, and that can be a nice addition to your page. You may have an old collar or tag that he used in the past. You may have a bandana that he wore or a favorite toy. You can attach all of these things or put them in envelopes attached to the page.
You can finish your page by adding cute embellishments such as stickers, glitter or your own custom made items such as little pieces of paper cut into the shape of puppy dogs. When you combine the above elements, you should have a great scrapbook page to honor your furry friend.
