Things a Woman shouldn’t Talk about on a first Date

There are single sentences that can stop a date right in its tracks. You want to be especially careful on a first date, because he is probably evaluating everything that you say. Women should especially avoid the following topics.
Your ex
Your new date probably does not want a half hour description of the man you just stopped dating, whom (you claim) you are over. He probably doesn’t want to hear about another guy but him. Leave the exes where they should be, in the past. Even if this is something that does eventually come up further in the relationship, it should not be part of a first date. The man might think that you are still interested in your ex, and he may be right. He also won’t want to think of himself as rebound guy. Definitely do not talk about sexual relations with other guys – he does not want to hear that.
Children
If you start talking about kids, then you are getting way ahead of yourself. It is great that you know exactly how many kids you want, their genders, their names and so forth, however, do not under any circumstances share this information. Many guys are scared to deal with this subject in an established relationship, and it is definitely not something to talk about now.
Marriage
It is your first date, definitely not the time to be thinking about marriage! A lot of guys are frightened by the mere mention of the word. Also, at a first date you should be evaluating whether you want to go on a second date, not whether you should be picking out dishes. Some women are desperate to get married and a lot of men shy away from that.
Money
A lot of men worry that women are after them for their money, especially if they are well-off. You may want to avoid talking about money issues or about material items such as your love of diamonds. You do not want him to think that you are just a gold digger.
“Women’s” issues
Do not tell him that you are not feeling good because you have cramps. Do not talk to him about “female” issues that husbands often have trouble dealing with, much less a guy on a first date.
You want your first date to go well, and the above topics are not compatible with that. Stay away from them and any others that you think could bring up a big stop sign in his mind.
