Unique Nursery Themes for Baby Boys
You want your baby boy to have a unique room. There are many different themes that you can incorporate to make the perfect surroundings for your little prince.
Ship
Your son might love to feel like he is the captain of his very own ship. You can paint the walls like it is the inside of a ship cabin. You can even line it with wood paneling. You can then put in a “railing” and show the sky and the deep blue sea. You can have seagull mobiles in the “sky.” You can also have portholes looking out into the water. You can put a real fish tank in the room, too. You can get furniture that has a nautical theme. They also sell crib bedding with images of ships, anchors and other sea themes. You can buy accessories that fit this as well like lamps, bookends, etc.
Firehouse
Your little baby boy might love to pretend that he is in a firehouse with his nursery. You can decorate the walls with pictures of fire trucks or make it look like he is actually in one. You can draw or put up pictures of firemen, a pole, alarms, a Dalmatian and so forth. You can decorate the walls with a fire hose, fireman hats, fireman coats, etc. You can also get bedding with these themes.
Sports field
Many people will decorate their baby boy’s nursery with a sports theme but how many of them will make their child field like they live in a sports field? You can put in green carpeting to represent grass. If you want it to be a football field then you can put in a rug like the bottom of a field or draw in the lines yourself. You can make your very own field goal poles. You can paint football players in action on the walls or get “stick-ons” to post up. You can put helmets, football jerseys and other paraphernalia up.
There are many other unique themes that your baby boy might love. If you want your child to feel like he is living amongst the stars then you can paint in pictures of planets. You can have planet mobiles hanging everywhere. He might love a playground themed room that shows pictures of rides all around him. Think about what he would like to look at as a baby as well as something that might work for a few years as well.
