Your mom may love a craft that you make for her. Of course if you have a skill such as if you are a painter, then this might be easy. A child might simply be able to draw or paint a picture and then get an inexpensive picture frame for it. If you like to sew then you can find a needlepoint or cross stitch that has a motherly theme to it or something that your mother likes.

You can then fill it up with things about her. You can write about special memories that you have from your childhood. You may talk about a time that she didn’t even know that you remember. You can talk about why you think that she is a great mother. You can talk about the things within her that you admire. You can discuss the special things in your life that you have because of her. You can write a poem about her. It really can be about whatever you want, and even if you are not the greatest writer in the world, it is not about that. Make it as long as you want.

There are many other gifts that you mind find for under $10. You might find a pretty piece of costume jewelry. You can get her a book or a DVD. You can get her an accessory such as a scarf.
